Building a new home in Cobbitty NSW 2570
For most of its history Cobbitty was farms and a village on Cobbitty Road. That is changing on its eastern side, where Mirvac's Cobbitty community covers about 80 hectares of zoned land beside Oran Park and Harrington Grove, and AVJennings has released Arcadian Hills. The homes going up are mostly double storey, so the stages that matter most are the ones that deal with the upper floor: frame and lock-up for the structure, waterproofing for upstairs wet areas and balconies, and fixing for window restrictors and balcony drainage.
Cobbitty is in Camden Council, about 70 kilometres south west of the Sydney CBD.
Mirvac's Cobbitty land holding is about 80 hectares, with lots settling over several financial years.
Arcadian Hills by AVJennings is a second master planned release within the suburb.
Upper floor items such as balcony supports and window restrictors feature heavily in our Cobbitty reports.
Have your plans and engineering ready before the first stage so each visit is measured against your own lot.
